Helpful hints for enrolling electronically
- Follow the link below. You will be redirected to MyVolunteerPage.com and prompted to create a personal profile**. You may also view the classes before creating a profile.
Follow this link to enroll electronically >> - After creating your profile, click on the Activities tab, then the Activities Sign-up tab. A list of classes will be displayed.
- Click on the link to the training class of your choice:
- Greeters: After selecting a Greeter class, click on the box “I am available to perform this
activity and would like to be assigned to it” and SAVE. That’s all there is to it!
- Tax preparers: After selecting a tax preparer class, an information page will display. In the
Current Status column, check the “Select All” box and SAVE. On the next page, be sure to
confirm your class! Click on the link titled Click Here to Go to the Schedule Page and Confirm. This
will take you to one final page that lists the three classes in your chosen training session. Click
on Select All to Confirm and SAVE. You’ll be good to go!
- Returning Tax Preparer Home Certification: After selecting the Home Certification Option, an information page will display.Click the box, Volunteer is Available to Perform this Activity and SAVE. You’re done! Online materials will be sent to you. NOTE: ONLINE HOME CERTIFICATION IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO RETURNING TAX PREP VOLUNTEERS, IRS TAX PREPARERS, AND THOSE WITH EXTENSIVE TAX PREP OR ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE. MUST ALSO ATTEND AN ORIENTATION SESSION.
